How to change hub oil

How does one change the hub oil on 1999 international 3800? And should I clean them out before adding the new oil? And how often should I change the hub oil? Any info will be appreciated.

I've never changed it but overhead several discussions about it. Basically, you just drain it out and refill. Some guys report using one of those turkey baster suction bulb things to pull out the old oil. The type of hub may matter, I don't know.

I stopped researching it when I learned that it only needs changed VERY rarely (like 100k miles, or something like that).
