IH 6.9 Diesel in 1959 R-185 IH
Hi,
New here so bear with me. I have a 1959 Ih R185 that was originaly equiped with a RD450 gas sucker... (5-7 mpg) I have installed a 6.9L diesel from a ford van, I found that the 404-549 gassers have the same front mounts, bell housing, and flywheel and the 6.9. so that is how I got the engine to mount to the original transmission. I had to move the engine forward in the frame to have room at the firewall. but all is going well till now. I now have air brakes and power steering added, and I need to find a picture or parts for all of the belts and pulleys for the front of the engine. The air compressor takes the place of the original location of the power steering pump. I am going to run an elecric fan, so that should be out of the way. How are the power steering pump mounted and the lower pully on the crank is way out of line of the air commpressor. can somone help me?
Thanks
