DIY- deep impact socket, cut out the notch to fit over the IPR.

is the DT IPR different than the T444E? on the 444E I just took the solenoid nut off, slipped off the solenoid and used a long deep well socket over the rest of it.

It's 35 mm or 1 3/8" and being like yourself plus getting sick of trying to find parts, tools, for an international cuz they try to keep everything secret and expensive I took a Toyota axle nut tool I bought for my sons Toyota tacoma and I cut a slot in it. And let me tell you it worked like a dream and I saved at least $70.00 on that damn socket.

Yeah, they put a darn snap ring in the back of the selonoid I don't think you could get it off outside the vehicle never mind in the little spot they stuffed it in. It's 35mm or 1 3/8" I used a deep well 35mm socket I bought for my sons Toyota axle bearings I cut a slot in it and it worked beautifully.

Next question is if the middle 0 ring on the ipr is almost ripped in half will that leakage past that middle 0 ring all the way out to where it mounts cause a problem with the valves operation

This is where I bought mine. There's a couple different variations depending on your actual engine year and model
