MD3060 Identification

Was looking at a 2000 model (or 1999) Rear engine bus with a T444e and the owner knows it has an Allison, but does not know which Allison it is.

I asked him if it had a T handle shifter or push button, and he said it had a pushbutton transmission. Are ALL push button transmissions MD3060?

Am I correct in my understanding that all MD3060 are overdrive units?

Anybody have any experience with a rear engine T444E? This bust is bout 5 hours away, just trying to do some research before driving.

Not all pushbutton selectors (we're talking the kind with the red LED display) are 3060s...but you know it's not an AT. We have pushbuttons on B400s and on MDs. If it's got a pushbutton selector, that's a good sign.

I have a B300 in mine with the push buttons. 5th & 6th are both overdrive and sixth may not always be enabled. Mine's not (yet)

crawl under and look at the tag on the transmission, it will say what model it is.
