In common rail there is a high pressure fuel injection pump. In HEUI the high pressure fuel is pressurized in the unit injector itself. So there is a high pressure oil pump .

I knew all the 466e and up were HEUI but for some reason I thought they switched around 2010. But I’ve never looked at diagrams to verify
