Stand alone Allison 1000 TCM

It’s been a while but I’m finally going to swap my 545 in my 2002 t444e to an Allison 2000. I remember the redbyrd thread on Cadillac kids swap but I can’t find / remember where I can source a stand alone Tcm (only needs the throttle position input). It was a company in Florida…

Can anyone point me to the company (s) that sell a plug and play TCM for runs solely off the throttle position?

Thanks

CAC (custom automatic conversion) in florida is 1..

jason at transmissiontuner dot com is another.

jason can sell you a TCM that is tuneable with EFIlive so you can make your own shift programs if you choose.. ive been running Jason's TCM in mine for quite some time.

your 2002 T444E doesnt need a non-standard throttle input. it will have J1939 data plug under the hood and you can buy a J1939 TCM from eithert of the above.. connect the data link up and you have better than throttle-only integration... I talk about connecting J1939 in my redbyrd transformation thread.

Thanks!

I have a stock tcm but I want to have a line on a stand alone solution in case it won’t work correctly. We aren’t full time but we have festivals planed so the swap has to be completed and ready to roll within a certain timeframe.

regardless of the TCM you use, you'll need to reprogram the ECM for "allison MD" so that your speedometer works correctly as you lose the speed sensor that the 545 has..
