I can tell you one thing with absolute certainty. Once I get the HPOP and turbo resealed the first stop will be a car wash this thing will fit in and I'll have a whole lot of quarters cause this engine, doghouse and all, are getting the washing of their life. Everytime I get within 5 feet of the engine compartment I find that I'm covered with oil. I think it's spitting it at me just to be spiteful. You'd think it would be grateful since I'm actually helping it.

Just an update since it's been a while since my last update.

I believe I mentioned I decided I'm NOT going to do anything to the turbo beyond the reseal I intended. The turbo is good enough to get me through the first season, assuming I make it out. I can always go the reman route if I find that I'm still around for a second winter's adventure.

I bought the fasteners I need to seal the EBP reservoir after removing the piston so I'm ready there. I'm going to have my buddy do a good tack weld on the butterfly so it won't move from the full open position. I decided I didn't want to get into cutting the butterfly shaft and then having to reseal the shaft end holes, I'm taking the path of least resistance.

I have o-rings for the pedestal. The only thing I need now is warm weather and that looks to be at least a week away.
