T444e won’t accelerate

Hi all, my international 3800 t444e starts and idles fine, but revs won’t rise when pedal is pushed.
It doesn’t have air brakes.
I do have a buzzer sounding, I’ve checked the basics,
Levels, safety window switches etc , looking for advice on how to proceed. I’m in the uk so it’s even more tricky as bus mechanics aren’t interested in American busses.

Thanks in advance

Probably somewhere under the dash. I'm sure someone with more knowledge about your vehicle will answer. I just know the last time my bus did the same thing, it was the APS. No dash light, but a DTC like "APS signal: voltage low".

no air brakes?
buzzer going off?
your bus is equipped with obd2?
probably an emergency hatch if equipped or a door buzzer type thing?
have you clipped any wires yet?

No, no wires clipped before this fault .
I have been round and tested the loom for a window / hatch switch closed . As they close to earth I have clipped that wire to see if that is the fault I am getting 20ohms from this wire to earth, but no difference.

If there is no response at all from the accelerator pedal at all it could be the potentiometer in the pedal itself.

It seems like I’ve found the problem, a late night visit from “Stuart Little” ,!!!! Eaten through one quite a few wires under the hood .
I’ve bridged a few and lost the warning buzzer and now it revs like it should, I’ve just got to find out what the rest of the wires do to reconnect, quite a few the same colour, so it’s going to be tricky ...

I have the entire T444E manual in PDF I can send you

I also have the leccy manual for IH 3000 series buses from 2000- 2004 Front engine and Rear engine in PDF as well

Even if you don't have the 3000 series bus a lot of the wiring is close, and will help at least guide you some. IH was known for their shite wiring and diagrams

I used the leccy manual when I was working on my 1999 Thomas and it was helpful during my Transmission swap

just pm your email mate

cheers
