crazycal - no the dash pic is on the 00 RedByrd (T444E that I swapped an allison 1000 into)
the DT360 is designed to run a little faster than the DT466.. so I opted not to gear the 91 carpenter and kept its 4.78s. which results in a 65 MPH RPM around 2500-2600. the DT360 conservative safe (it will run all day) RPM is 2800.. its a few hundred above a 466..
a 4.44 gear would bring me down a bit on RPM, however for a shorty its a HEAVY bus.. and i already slow down on big hills.. (though its MUCH better than it ever was with the AT545)..
Noise-wise having fixed all of the flaws, holes, cracks, etc i nthe engine firewall to driver compartment.. (not only does it give my AC a chance in summer south heat).. the dynamatting made things much quieter even at higher RPMs..
my most common cruising speed is 62 and thats in the 2300 rpm range which is purring for a DTA360.. your 466 will be happy in that range or maybe 100-200 lower but not much. unless you are on flat ground or have its screws turned out a bit.
