Where/How to replace AT-545 shift lever

Hey all,

My shift lever just broke while driving. Anyone know where I can find a replacement, and how to find the correct model? Photo below.

Also, how hard is it to replace this myself?

its a standard shifter, looks like an IH 3800.. 4 bolts hold it into the dash and there is a cable connection and a wire (for the backlight).. and thats it..

you cxan find them used everywhere.. vaanderhaags, truck parts inventory.. any heavy truck / school bus junkyard..

that said, if you were really having to pull on your shifter so hard that the handle broke off you may need a new shift cable.. you shouldnt have to exert much force to shift...

Sweet. Thanks!

I didn't have to exert force at all. I don't even know how it happened. It was like it just dissolved in my hand while shifting and suddenly I had to shift by pushing the little pin in!

Yeah the side button pushes that pin which unlocks it out of its current gear and allows you to move the stick.

Could be a cool opportunity to custom make you an end for uniqueness.

Thanks. I was able to pick one up from Vander Haags. Cost me about $200. I haven't installed it yet, and now am having bigger issues with my bus, but that's another post...
