1999 A3RE - air filter replacement

Hi all,

Is it possible to purchase ONLY the inner element for the air filter and avoid buying the metal housing?
The replacement part number for my air filter is WIX 46861.

I've hit a wall in my search for an answer and thought I'd reach out before paying for a replacement.

Why are you replacing it?

Most air intake systems have a pressure monitor to indicate when the filter is excessively clogged. Does your intake have such a setup?
