2006 Blue Bird with a C7 engine, good, bad, ugly?

I have a chance to buy a
2006 Bluebird (short bus ) 2200 model
with a Caterpillar C7.

Is this something to be avoided or jumped on?

thanks in advance.

thanks. I checked the thread. Interesting.

I realize every vehicle has issues. I'm just trying to avoid major ones up front. I like getting out of trouble quicker than I got into it. (Oddball, Kelly's Heroes)

The buses being sold these days from school districts are generally post 2004, which means emissions hassles. Its just part of the landscape I guess.

I mean, I like my Kia spectra but would rather have my old 1973 cutlass with its 455 4 barrel, but it ain't gonna happen.

Caterpillar C7 7.2L. Sounds like its nobody's favorite but not a two bagger either..

thanks

2003-2004 is the end of the road for me. After that the epa standards and crappy manufacturing killed diesel engines.
