MD3060 on face book

I have been scouting for a five speed or six speed allison for my bus... but I ran across this one.

MD3060 now bolted to a cat c7. it is in a rear engine Thomas I think. It is still in the bus.

Transmission, TCU, shift pad, and wiring for $1200 used I do not know the mileage. serial number - 6510492688

If your asking if this is a deal, then yes. But you want to get one that's mated to your same engine because the transmission TCM and engine ecu talk to each other and have wire harnesses counting on that.


You might be able to get one from a 12v Cummins from the 90s that is all mechanical as well.


I know this from researching transmission swaps before buying a bus. Never done it, so maybe more will chime in with more feedback.
