2009 Bluebird 8.3 Cummins & Allison Question

I have another question. So I bought this 2009 Bluebird with the 6.7 and it turns out it is the 8.3. I want to change all the fluids and really don't know much about the Allison trans. What fluid options are there and any idea how much it holds? I have worked on a lot of stuff but never owned an Allison long enough to maintain it.

I know the fluid for an Allison is pricey. How much does it hold? I guess I could drain it and measure it as it can sit while i get fluid.

The Allison service manuals are available if you search online. You will have to determine your transmission model and the depth of the reservoir as there are different sizes and oil quantity. The manual will also have the recommended fluid specs.

Allison has a site "My Transmission" and for all the info.
Ebay is your best bet for fluid *TranSynd", 50 or so a gallon
