92 bluebird wiper problem

So I'm trying to figure out why the passenger side wiper motor takes the wiper lower then the windshield seal
Like its lost its home switch or was not installed properly
The wiper arm can not be misaligned on the post
Just wandering if anyone knows anything about how these work

I only have experience with the Freightliner FS65 Thomad build. However, on t=our bus, the wiper arms attach to the wiper motor by sliding down a spline on the wiper motor shaft and a similar spline in the arm. Thus, there are a number of positions the blades can be set.

When I replaced my wiper arms, I did not get them on in the same position as they were originally set, so the driver blade did not rest the same place. To fix that, I loosened the nut, moved the arm away from the motor shaft until it cleared the splines, rotated the blade in the direction needed, and slipped it back down the wiper motor shaft.

+1 on the arm having slipped its splines. If it gets knocked or weighed down too much by something it can happen. Just remove and realign!

That might work if he hadn't said " The wiper arm can not be misaligned on the post"

There must be some way to adjust them. No wiper system I’ve ever seen has been “one size fits all vehicles”. Perhaps the arm is merely bent?
