Cummins 8.3 and allison 5 speed
So, while I was looking for some information and parts...
I ran across an older motor home about 160,000 miles.
Rodent Infested, sat parked and unused for ten years. Recently driven 50 miles to location where it now sits.
The engine is a cummins 8.3 mechanical injection and allison 653 transmission.
The owner is parting this thing out.... but would sell the whole thing. $5500
that would give some one with a much older driveline newer hoo daddy stuff to work with. I dont have a need for it right now and thought I would pass on information to those of you looking for stuff. again Owner will part out. There was some one looking into allison mechanical transmissions earlier.
Oh guy says goes 75 mph.
