Some good info there.

I have that injection pump on my 24V Cumins. The most important thing is that it gets good flow of fuel as it cools the pump. If the lift pump is weak, the VP44 will burn itself out.

I upgraded lift pumps (Raptor Air Dog) and put it by the tank to PUSH the fuel. Add a low fuel pressure alarm/light. Add a fuel pressure gauge.

I replaced ALL my fuel lines with overkill 3000 psi hydraulic hose.

When I go to start it after sitting for weeks, I just bump the key and she's running- no more lost prime.
