Hydraulic oil required for 2001 Gillig Transit

We have 2001 Gillig 29' G18E102R2 bus powered by a Cummins ISC 8.3.
What we really need is a service reference for the 2001. I have the SRM for a 2007 that calls for 15W40 fan oil but not sure of what was used back in 2001. Also need tranny oil spec for a VOITH for the 2001 bus.
This is a new convert-a-bus project for us. Currently working on moving it 350 miles to it's new home in McKinney TX.

My 2001 bluebird with an ISC and calls for 10w30 for the fan and power steering reservoir.

It's on the shelf next to blinker fluid.

On a rear-engine bus some radiator fans are driven by a hydraulic pump and motor. Others by belts and pulleys, gear and shafts, or electric fans.

Ahh. Gotcha thank you I've not had experience with a rear engine yet

If Gillig can't tell you, try looking up what the maker of the hydraulic pump and the fan motor recommend. This means you'll probably need to get down and dirty with a flashlight and some rags to find any name plates on those two things. If your PS box shares hydraulic fluid with the fan motor, like my bus does, the PS probably will dictate what fluid is needed. Sometimes it's multiweight engine oil (Shepherd steering often used that), sometimes Dexron like my Ross TS65 needs, and sometimes it's something else altogether.

For the Voith, good luck! Voith does have a US presence, so maybe a call to them will be the best way. Whatever you do, do NOT guess or assume - using the wrong fluid is VERY BAD.
