Replacement wireless tach for the Bluebird handy Bus Cummins 5.9

After no luck finding a replacement OEM Tach This was stumbled upon. It is the same size and appearance as the wonky instrument it replaces and wireless to boot.
So, mailed in my boxtops and $109.99 going to wait 6-8 weeks for delivery and will let be known the outcome.
The video explains it pretty good; a Hall effect device mounted adjacent to the harmonic balancer and four glued on magnets then plug the sensor in to the transmitter and Bingo.
We hope-oh.

A wireless conversion kit sounds pretty slick, and for $109, it's practically free. As for the 6-8 week lead time, as the saying goes "good, fast, or cheap, pick two."

Curious though as to what made you decide to go wireless?

Got it. FWIW, I've got a full set of gauges finally on their way from SpeedHut.

If it makes you feel any better about the lead time, I ordered them on 4/2/18; they should be here on Monday 5/21.

Please explain "full set"? Because I've got a completely broken dashboard I will be rebuilding (probably next year) and really just want some "new stuff"....

Here is my post with a "mock up" of the gauges I ordered.

Here is where I am documenting the dash rebuild. I will posts some pics of the gauges when they arrive next week.

Rivetboy, sorry for the hi-jack...

Hey, we are on the same page.
This is who I have been ordering from. Quite a similarity.
