Turbo blankets

Since my bus is a front engine model, am wondering if these work as advertised for noise and heat, are they worth the investment?
Also, why is there such price disparity??

are turbos really that noisy? hot yes . A/C takes care of the heat.. Id Dynamat the doghouse area or build an enclosure for it to cut down on noise.. even dynamatting my conventionals has made a huge difference in noise

That is where I am headed with Hushmat, Dynamat or this weeks
knock off , turbo boost blankets just do not sound worth the expense.
I do think that some 2lb. MLV will be in one layer also. Isolated layers of mass block noise well
