Turbo Help needed

Just curious if anyone knows if a turbo on a 6.7 Cummins in a pickup would be the same on a 6.7 Cummins in a 2008 Vision school bus

Can't answer that one directly, but the turbo will have an ID tag on it so you can check it against the pickup turbo.

Or...you can call a cummins dealer, give them vin numbers and see if they use the same part number.

probably different.

i bought some replace parts for my turbo and i think the dodge/cummins varies a lot from our industrial cummins.

shouldnt the mounting flange (c4) be the same with most turboes? the internals might be different.
i know there should be a difference for application truck bus heavy equipment but if the OP is in a bind then i think they should all bolt up at the base.
not trying to buck you boohyah.
in a bind will it not work.

housings are different one vs other. They're not standard shape on dodge trucks. Even the actuator is different IIRC and won't swap between dodge and commercial applications.

Regardless, by the time you go through adapting one to fit the other, you could likely sell what you have and then buy the correct one.
