No bus - I have been working on a small Gypsy-style trailer to continue short adventures. But I am not ruling out picking up a small or extra-medium bus to convert to a full time home.

Nice - I saw those when trying to figure out how to get started. Mine won’t be that fancy. But it should turn out to be a pretty wagon

Your Gypsy Wagon is coming along nicely. The off center doorway sure will help with the use of floor space. Keep the pics coming!

good to see you on here!!

I thought you liked having a more permanent home.. or is wanderlust striking again? (it always does!)..

I sure love my short busses.. im still rocking my 2 all over the place.. well somewhat slower with Covid but shorties are nice because they are easy to park about anywhere..

the bggie bus was a good runner! when I ran its computer for you that engine was healthy as could be at over 300k.. it ran perfectly..

the 2002.5 and up T444E engines had some improvements to the predecessors that give them good shots at 400k without needing more than a set of injectors and some sensors..

in my opinion the 99.5 and up break is near essential.. thats when they went to ELC coolants and most got split shot injectors which made cold weather manners better

I’m pretty sure The Biggie Bus had the same engine/trans combo as mine, which runs like a beast. I hope to get 400K out of mine!

Roger’s pup Odin seems to LOVE the snow up where they are!!

the biggie bus was the same.. his was a little higher horsepower rating. at a factory 210.. i cant remember what yours is.. yours showed healthy too when we ran it.

I have about 205k on mine but the 99.5 - 02.5 dont have quite as good track record as the 02.5 plus.

and of course with any of these engines dont get them hot.. even these venerable 7.3's can and will blow up if overheated.. even just once..
