Those are foreign buses, top one in Brazil, bottom one probably from the UK. Some cool looking hardware there.

Here are two very different examples of half-cab designs! The first one is an airport bus for Sao Paulo's Congonhas airport, probably with locally-made Brazilian bodywork. The second one is an English half-cab Leyland Tiger with what looks like pre-war Duple bodywork, a real classic: Old Bus Photos » Leyland Tiger PS

I gotta be honest, some of the cabs beside the engine look a little funny to me, but that one gets the lines just right.
