Happy 420 greetings from Canada where we are legal coast to coast to coast, but be very careful driving. Just don't, it's treated the same as alcohol. Suspensions and fines, loss of licence etc.

Party on everyone!

Love that bee picture.

When we went to Mexico in 1993, we met an English speaking Canadian guy who flew choppers for Pemex (Mexican State owned oil/gas company), and since we were cavers looking for virgin caves, and he was a geological specialist with topo-maps crossed with rock-types in the area, we got to talkin'. He hooked us up with maps we could not get anywhere else from anyone!

He also learned we smoked buds, and hooked us up with a 1/2 pound for free of really good green seedless beauties

One day we camped next to a river that exited from a huge-mouthed cave on the side of a mountain. In the morning, we noticed these really big black ants that were everywhere, and had built "roads" for themselves in a big network. These were recessed 1/4 inch into the soft ground that was our vehicle's dirt-roadway, with 1/2 inch high birms on either side. These roads were so busy with ants every 3-5 inches carrying food, or looking for it. They never left these pathways.

We put all kinds of our food in their paths: fruits, veggies, bread, cheese, meat, whatever; they ignored it all, walked right around it.

Then we put a small bud in their path. They immediately dropped whatever they were carrying when they came to a bud, and tried to pick it up and carry it (much bigger than them). They would get it maybe 3-inches down the path, with others joining in, then they would start dragging it off the path, in circles, back the way they came from, like circus clowns.

As for me, I woke at dawn every morning, rolled big a hooter, smoked it alone watching the sun rise, waited for the rest to wake, rolled another to smoke with them, smoked another before leaving camp, smoked another at noon, 3:00PM, all day and into the night...and after a month we still had buds left that we buried in a park in Mexico near the border before crossing back into the US. The US border guards, with their nice uniforms and white gloves, looked at a beat-up, dirty, ugly, multi-colored 1977 Chevy K5 Blazer with four stinky guys who haven't seen a hotel room or shower in a month (hey, we made it to the Pacific Ocean and swam there just a week before!) and a trunk full of muddy caving gear stopped us for 5 mins for questioning, and sent us on our way, as they basically probed the rectum of a "business guy" and his BMW in the check-in stall next to us.

We went back in 1995. The Zapatistas uprising (McDonalds was "buying" up their ancestral land, running them off, deforesting it, filling it with cows, which they would then ship across the border to Texas for slauder as "US beef") had just occurred, and driving through Mexico was no longer a "trip in the park," as they stopped us at every state border and searched our vehicle for weapons or explosives. 1,000,000 Mayan people marching on Mexico City had them unnerved. So no buds that trip Must be why I rolled my truck

Neighbor just showed up, "Can I get a 1/2 of an 1/8, it's 420 and I can't get my guy till tonight. Asked my kid to pack the bowl, said he didn't have any. When his mom asked he said "close your eyes, I might have some." His dad would smoke it all, I don't blame his kid at all.

We're not so bad here. As long as you can pass a roadside test you're fine.

Being legal has been a real life-changer, man. Not being paranoid about living next to two gung-ho rookie cops while smoking joints all the time is priceless.
For someone like me who's paid his dues to smoke every day since 1993 this is a bonafide holiday!
Definitely THE biggest, most important 4/20 ever for me.
I still haven't smoked any weed outside my house yet even though its legal. I think today may be THE day though!

Be careful there has to be some kind of regulation they can get you on?
Like blowing the smoke out of your mouth in there face when they are in your face?
Second hand smoke?
ain't paranoid but never publicized it either?

Happy 420 everyone!

i certainly know how liberating the people in newly legal states feel. i think the tides are changing and we will see national legistaltion with in a year or 2.

this 420 brings me to a new endeavour as well. Med/rec has been legit here in Colorado since 2010, and i've been participating in every way i know. this year, in fact, 2 days ago, i just got my Industrial hemp registration so i'm turning the corner from thc cannabis to cbd cannabis production.

i got hemp legal on the 4/18 and here on 4/20, im just about planted up with my high cbd / no thc hemp clones.

hempy 420 everyone!

I've lived my whole life in fear due to my extreme passion for cannabis. I'm done hiding it.
LOUD and proud from now on. All the best.
