We have one restaurant in town that delivers. We ordered in cheeseburgers and fries for two and a small order of wings. $53…... Dang!

This is the second time we've been sold sub-par bacon via Publix delivery.

Center cut lol

The butcher used to give us this kinda scrap to feed our dogs when I was a kid.
The last bacon we got was like this but brown so I guess they're improving slowly?

Yuk!!

That isn't bacon it's "sow belly". I don't think that I would even feed that to my dog.

We've been getting about half of what we order, but at least what we do get is good quality. Especially the fresh vegetables, and it seems like the stores are discounting them pretty heavily to move them. I guess people don't know what the hell to even do with vegetables.

They definitely fell off the bone. Would it make any potato salad Just store-bought stuff. But it was good.

I was out shopping for others today already. The isles here are in much better shape than they were last week.

Do you work for Instacart? Apparently they're going on strike for better safety conditions and sick leave - all of which are well-deserved.

I do. Bunt Savannah has got to be one of the worst places to do it. people shop for 9 10 and 11 dollars here. If I decide not to work on Monday I'll be the only one.

Well Easter is the height of crawfish season around here. Usually a crayfish boil is a social event. Maybe I’ll boil em and drop em off to my peeps.😁 🥰

4 slices of bacon, 3 if thick slices. Will slice cross wise, 1/4" wide.
half an onion, i like purple onions. Cut in no larger than 1/4" bits
4 cloves of garlic, peeled and minced, as small as you can!
One package of Kraft, real cheese, four cheese diner.

in a large (5 quart) pot, brown the bacon, do not brown till hard & crispy.
Add onion and garlic, cook until brownish color change.
Add three quarts water, bring to a boil, add noodles.
Place cheese packet into small pot add a pint of water and put medium heat under it.
Boil noodles for 11 minutes. Drain and add to large bowl.
Add melted cheese sauce, and mix. Makes a nice size bowl for 4 people. Add your favorite veggies, cooked to your liking and you have a full meal!

There's nothing I'd rather have in life right now than a bag of fresh cooked crawfish dropped off in front of my house.

Peep, Peep .... but Fort Worth may be a bit far to drive so I'll understand if I don't see any mud bugs.

Spaghetti Dinner

Here was tonight's meal. I cooked a nice meatsauce and personal loaves of bread.

I made enough for three adults for three meals. I also used part of the sauce to make some chili for my wife. She likes her chili without heat and without beans. She is a Texan ... go figure!

Man that sounds good! I could get excited about a good crawfish boil.

I'll tell you what.... I'll trade you 8 rolls of TP for 2 pounds of crawfish?

I'm sorry you're getting shafted. Is Publix always like this where you are, or is this a side effect of the coronavirus situation? The Publixes (?) in the Daytona area are usually decent stores.

Normally Publix sells us decent quality. Better than Walmart, anyhow. This meat they've been sending it like jail quality at best man.
I think publix are just sticking it to us for extra $$ while they can. They're some greedy assholes at the top of Publix. They literally go out of their way to be dicks, kinda like the top folks at Chikfila.

If you order publix delivery its actually "insta cart" and you have to lodge any and all complaints to insta cart. Basically there's no returning a delivered item. that's savage.
