I don't "love" opossum . I do like it OK if it's prepared properly.

have you ever actually eaten it? Oh man I couldn't eat anything that smells like that. I do remember trying it once as a small kid. My grandad would catch and eat anything.
I've had a few in my lifetime. Not really pets as much as neighborhood friends. They're really pretty harmless and they're natures little recyclers/scavengers.

Sorry about Mittens CB. I understand, we felt down after taking a stray to get adopted, Missed him but he will be better off. Spooky wasn't happy with his presence so he's happier.

When I went to UF the Anthropology department had an annual Armadillo Roast at which actual armadillo (of questionable provenance, possibly roadkill) was barbecued and served. I tried it and it was actually pretty tasty, like sweeter chicken. And I did not catch leprosy, always a bonus.

Once I learned these delightful little critters eat up to a 1000 ticks a day I see them in a whole new light!

My late companion, Barkley. He loved to ride. He would have been a great bus dog.

I slept in my bus for a couple of nights in early November, right after I took the seats out. I brought my cat along to get her used to the idea. She is 12 years old and seems to be able to adapt to anything. She is uneasy when I start the bus, but I think she will learn that it's no big deal.

I am planning to get another Golden.

We have an English Mastiff. He loves car rides, so I'm sure he will adapt to bus life easily. They make surprisingly good apartment dogs, as long as you can deal with the size and the drool. Oh, the drool!

They are pretty stubborn, so I wouldn't recommend them for first-time dog owners, or even as a first giant breed. 200lbs of dog that won't listen is not fun - they are challenging to train but wonderful animals when you're done. They also need a lot of socialization when young. I was in the hospital when our guy was a pup, so he didn't get the socialization the way he should have and he can be a bit short-tempered around other dogs now.

When selecting a breed, look at what they're bred for, it will tell you a lot about what the dog will need. Be honest about your own lifestyle and how much time/energy you can devote to a dog. Make sure those two things match up, otherwise you're not going to be happy. Always remember that a tired dog is a well-behaved dog. Most will need a lot of exercise to be happy.

Just make sure you take the collar off your pet before you go through any CBP inland check points. Other wise they may think you are trafficking.

We raise Classic Old Frills Satinette pigeons. I would like to figure out how I can bring two of my birds as they are hand raised and tame. One was born with a slipped tendon however he can still fly. My other needs constant petting and coffee.

Agro-skoolie.

I have read that chickens do not last long in a traveling home. Stress, maybe?
