Western Canada meet up

Hey I知 thinking of putting together a simple skoolie/van conversion meet up in the Calgary/southern Alberta area in July. Right now I知 looking to see how much interest there is so if you have any interest in coming send me your email address through private message or contact me through Kijiji - just search bus/van conversion in there and you can reach me through the ad. That way I can keep in touch about what might be going on and see how much interest there is.

It値l mainly be to meet other skoolie owners, show yours off or gather ideas for your own conversion.

Comments on this thread will also help to get it into the email update so more can be aware of it.

I'm doing the same thing in central Texas! Howdy partner!

What all kinds of events and stuff are you thinking about having?

Love the idea, unfortunately lockdowns here in BC are increasing. We have now been told no non essential travel outside our local health region.
Good luck and stay safe.

I haven’t planned anything specific for activities, if any, till I see what number to expect. I was thinking simple and short like 1 night, maybe 2 but people can come and go as they wish. People can show off their conversions and get ideas maybe have a community bonfire. I’m open to anyone’s ideas. It would be nice to make it a yearly gathering and maybe it will grow over time.

If I could cross the border I’d come down to yours in Texas but in order to get my bus there I’d have to have a company ship it across the border then fly down to pick it up. Hopefully common sense will prevail in regards to Covid restrictions by summer.
