Josh,

You are putting enough shiny new parts on your bus for all of us.

Time to give the wrenches a break and get some traveling in before it snows?

Given that we have gone from near 100F to 69F in three days I suspect we should see snow by Thursday.....

I don't think it got above 50 here today. I for sure never saw sunlight! I picked up 2 more rolls of reflectix to finish my ceiling and double up in a few areas! Once I get that installed I'll have a really really shiny part.

So this morning I was able to test the cold start capability of the bus and it started right up. Freezing temperatures overnight make us sad!

Neglecting this thread for too long!

My shiniest part on the short bus is now this beautiful Bosch sb200 alternator! Thanks Rusty, got it in plenty of time before hitting the road again. There old alternator did not like having it's pulley removed and is now in two pieces...

Maybe tomorrow I will install the one I got for the big bus?

Its raining today so that limits what work I can do... But I expect I'll have another pic of another new alternator on the big bus today. Also thinking about ways to run a hot lead from the truck battery to the house battery for days like we've had lately where the sun forgets to make an appearance...

Shiny is just whatever the newest piece happens to be! Mirrors count if you just installed them!

Glad you got them in time, BD. I was worried with the snowstorm. Thanks for thinking of me.

I was ready for a fight with removing my old pulley off the old Leece-Neville, but it came-off without any issues- didn't even need the puller.

I had a backup NOS pulley ready to go, though. $35 = cheap insurance.

Big improvement, plenty of juice.

What is the duty cycle on the 200 amp alternator? Will it put that out all day long?

Shiny Rims !!!

Fedex showed-up at my door today with something shiny for my bus !!

Fedex DELIVERS ! Even after a foot of snow, Fedex girl made-it up my 300' driveway to deliver on a Saturday. Before I got out to plow.

She carried those 6 heavy boxes through the snow- alone. Now that's a girl who deserves equal pay. I didn't hear her because of the snow or I might have set my coffee cup down to watch.

I went with the Lvl1 Alcoas- they are all the same, just different polish options. You can see some faint milling marks, but if you saw my build, I have that giant polisher and rouge, so these will get the mirror treatment someday when Summer...

And all night.

They make their power early- at low RPM- idle.

Thanks ! Outside of my bus looks good, inside...work in progress.

They are 22.5" x 8.25"- same as it came with.

Lugnuts I can reuse, but the center caps I'll have to save for.

Bits and pieces when you can.

I love your shiny new bong. Looks like it flows nicely.
