Ok, took me a few days to find my very useful Kill-A-Watt, apologies.
I have a 43" 4K TV. When video quality is set to "vivid" it consumes 65 watts. Set to "normal", consumes 55 watts. Set to "power saving", consumes 45 watts. All of these were while streaming from a Wifi connection. It does not have a DC option so must run via inverter when not on shore power. Assuming a 12V battery bank and 'power saving' mode, that is something around 4 amps (@12.5 volts) plus inverter losses. That is a LONG ways from 12 amps - what kind of TV do you have??
My SHURflo water pump is 24VDC so not sure it is applicable for your calcs but it draws ~160 watts. Difficult to measure as it is currently wired in - that number observed from my BMS.
Assuming you are using LED/SMD lights (for all locations), it will take a whole lot of them to get to 2.5 amps. I am running a mess of
these LED/SMD light panels and have them connected via
these dimmers. I measured power consumption and posted that info in
this post. Basically 150mA at 20VDC.
