2003 BlueBird International Reverse Light

Hello There! Long story short received my bus with no rear end, previous owner cut it out for a toy hauler. Didn't leave a love note detailing what wire was what. I have them all figured out except for reverse... Any leads on a wiring diagram?

I have turned the bus on in reverse and light probed every wire back there. I've looked on the circuit panel with no leads to anything "reverse" Any help would be appreciated. I have no back up beeper, so figured lights would be important.

Still no luck.

I'm about to hard wire a switch when I asked the reverse gear, backing into a dark parking spot is getting annoying. Any other troubleshooting suggestions?

The reverse sensor for the transmission may be bad which is why you're not getting a hot wire back there.

And, depending upon the configuration, you might find a wire that's hot all the time and doesn't change when you shift into reverse. On our older Ford, the reverse sensor switch actually completes the ground path in the reverse light circuit. Dbacks is still right, it might be the switch. But if you're looking for a wire that changes state from "cold" to "hot" when you shift, you might not find one if your setup is switched through the ground.

And like SportyRick says...tell us more. I'm assuming an older bus with a simple switched circuit. But if you have a bus with an ECU or MCU or TCU or whatever computer might control it, that could complicate the troubleshooting.
