Checked door switches fuses etc. Power at starter good no power on start wire at starter in start position. Gave up for the night came back this morning and it cranked and ran normal just drove it a few miles to get up to operation temp parked and back to a no crank no start. This is a gas 6.0 engine

could be several things but no power on start wire in start position would be the starting point.
what is your battery voltage?
does the solenoid click?
the ignition fuse is in the underhood fuse box if they havent changed from my 2004 express.
but my manual covers 1998-2003 so something changed.
regardless troubleshooting a start circuit is the same.
my 2004 has several labled ignition fuses in the fuse box and my no child left behind circuit was tapped into the fuse box under the drivers seat.

Two easy thing to try is wiggle the shifter while cranking the starter, sometimes the neutral safety switch can cause this. Check that the nut holding the wires on the starter is tight, careful the wires there are hot.

Ive wiggled the shifter. Tried in neutral all the same. Battery voltage is good all the way to the starter all the fuses checked and are good.
