24v Inverter, Oops I thought it was a 12 v...

I thought I was buying a 12v inverter... bought a 24v. Is there a way to use a 24v converter coming off of a 12v Alternator?

If I understand the question, than yes. But I'm not sure taht would solve your problem--need more info about your system because the alternator isn't really relevant with respect to your Inverter, what matters most is your battery bank voltage. Can you briefly describe the specs of your electrical system design?

Thanks the for the response, further research of the unit, it's 12v... Older xantec.
Manuals took a while to find for the specific unit.
