Exclamation ATTN: Assistance with Odometer Diagnosis

Hey all,

Reaching out for some help from those more knowledgable and experienced than I with instrument clusters.

I purchased my bus from another state and upon delivery realized the digital odometer wouldn't show up. Instead of taking the time then to diagnose I dove headfirst into demolition and consequently disconnected the rear heater, leaving the bus unable to start up for a while.

Fast Forward...

Upon initial inspection I noticed the section on the panel was missing a V-2 74 bulb and plastic housing so I switched out for another bulb I knew was working. no luck
I then disconnected the 16 or so pin main connector, cleaned it up, then reinserted but alas also to no avail.
As of now I am cleaning ports and connections with alcohol but not sure what is next.

Attaching pictures of my unit and the digital odometer.

Perhaps those little rubber "feet" are to blame?

I also noticed several connections or "pins," soldering points?, look as if they were resoldered so someone has messed around in here previously.

Lastly, I highly recommend EVERYONE bringing home a used school bus take their cluster out and inspect ALL BULBs!! Several of mine were crushed and I would have went a while not noticing and just trusting that the ABS system was A-okay...

Thanks in advance

P.S. Fuse is good to go
tried turning key and shining my own flashlight through hole but odometer did not have any numbers lighting up though I'm not sure that is a very effective approach to testing

Congratulations!!!

That was quick. You reassembled the dash in less than two hours .... well, you could have been in the assembly phase when you posted the first message.
