That is a excellent industrial relay! Maybe on my next build I’ll go with too quality like that.
I followed the instructions in Victron Energy’s Wiring Unlimited book and measured the voltage drop and ripple on my inverter cables under load. I was running a 1200 watt induction plate and got 0.2V drop on the positive cable, 0.1V drop on the negative cable, and 0.3V ripple across the inverter terminals. It’s looks like the sum of the voltage drops but I don’t know if it’s correlated. I’m going to shorten my positive cable so it’s the same length as the negative. With a small battery and heavy loads the drop and ripple can be a issue. The book says it can shorten the life of the equipment and batteries.
