battery compartment/master cutoff question

Hi

Can anyone tell me what the circuit breaker is in this pic and what it is connected to? It has been removed not by me and I'd like to replace it. Can anyone give me a clue? It is hard to tell just by looking, i'm hoping someone has seen this before. It is a BUSS 90 amp with manual disconnect/reset.

Also, is it common to have lots of rust in the battery compartment? There is more rust there than about anywhere in the bus.

Thirdly, my master cutoff switch operates on the positive side instead of negative. i understand it is better-off on the negative leg. Is it worth redoing the whole thing for the protection of ecm/tcu from spikes?

Do you have a wheelchair lift? It look's like what I have on a Thomas with a lift.

Also, is it common to have lots of rust in the battery compartment? There is more rust there than about anywhere in the bus.

Is there a drain blocked or is it on the top and sides?

Some feel that it is better on the negative but I have a Blue Bird Vision with a factory installed shut-off on the positive side. After market types can touch metal and cause arcing.

There are acid-proof paints specifically designed for coating the inside of battery trays and boxes.
