Bb tc2000 reinstalling stolen batteries

1994 bluebird tc2000 all American ... Someone stole the brand new batteries I put in last year.. 550$ of batteries gone ... Took me this long to save up but just bought new ones to go back in... Problemnisnthe leads are just laying there with no ends or markings on them... And I dunno if this bus is 12v or 24v .. Or which lead goes where..

Info on this model or suggestions?
Thanks

It would be 12v and the batteries would be hooked up parallel.

Re: Bb tc2000 reinstalling stolen batteries

even if they are wired in parallel you can find out which one is which.

One of them will go and be bolted to the body…. this is the negative or ground … aka black.

The other will go down to the starter or some other type of electronics. This should be red or the positive.

Hope this helps you out. Its not hard.

Re: Bb tc2000 reinstalling stolen batteries

i disconnecting mine without marking them and hooked it back up wrong.

i probably have a different set up than you, but i had 1 ground and 2 hot leads for the batteries.

i hooked up the ones i could tell was ground to the ground, the one i could tell was hot to the hot..... and the third one.... scratched my head. the hole it came into the battery box was closest to the negative post so i attached it there.

i started the truck and had no gauges.

i moved the mystery lead to the hot side of the battery and everything worked fine.

Good luck

Military applications and coach buses. I dont ever recall a school bus with 24v.
