Bus turns over won't start, 2000 BlueBird RE 8.3 ISC Cummins

Hi all, been lurking for a long time and need to post now that I finally own a bus!

Bus: 2000 BlueBird All American, RE 8.3 ISC, MD3060, 157k miles.

I just purchased our bus last week and drove it home over 2,400 miles with no major issues. I parked it in front of our house and then went out the next day to move it in to it's spot where it will be converted. It fired right up, I put it in drive, drove it 200 feet, and the bus sputtered and shut off. I towed it right back to where it was, and now it won't start. It will turn over, but will not fire.

I have tried to make sure that all windows and doors are closed as they should be. I have fuel pressure at the filter, I also loosened one of the fuel lines going to the motor and cranked it over, plenty of fuel getting there(at least I think it's plenty of fuel). I'm not sure what else could be the issue.

Any help or guidance would be amazing! I'm pretty handy around an engine, but this engine is new to me and I don't know all the quirks or things to check yet.

I can't help with the engine, but I don't think you need to worry about the windows and doors. If the safety interlock is engaged the engine won't even turn over.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if it would turn over or not with the interlock system.

here is a thread that talks about a similar situation as yours. I didn't read it all the way through but it does speak about the cutoff solenoid on the fuel pump.

Thanks, I'll take a look.

Also, just noticed that the "stop engine" light on dash is flashing once the key is turned to the on position, and keeps blinking, does not go out.

have you checked the oil level?
how much fuel do you have?
dont trust the fuel guage actually put a clean stick into the fuel tank to measure fuel.
did it die on an incline/decline which means the fuel and oil is off to one side of the oil pan or fuel tank.

Died on flat road. I’m in Florida so it’s as flat as flat can be. Oil shows good, fuel gauge is over a 1/4 but I’ll do a true check this evening. I appreciate everyone’s responses.
