Can anyone help us with our electrical?

Hi .. my husband and I just bought a converted bus. It's been one problem after the other, but, mechanically, we're finally getting it sorted out. We drove from CA to TN to buy this thing and are currently (somewhat) stranded. On top of all the other problems we've encountered, our entire electrical set up isnt functioning now. Is there anyone in the Memphis area who we could get.to make a service call to our bus in order to get it electrically sound and functioning? We are here for a day, possibly 2. We're located in a small town called Forest City, Arkansas, about 40 miles outside of Memphis. Thank you!

You may be able to get a mobile RV mechanic to help you if you're in a real bind. What problems are you experiencing?

Hi, our mechanical.we are getting taken care of. An absolute angel of a human being came across our path out here. Chuck at Lytle's truck repair in Forest City, Arkansas is the kind of man you want to know. More on that in a bit because his generosity been *that *exceptional.

Our big issue now is the bus' electrical power inside. We have zero power. We figured he sent us away with a bad inverter so we plugged in at an RV spot and it still didnt power up..?

Hi, assuming this must be the first time trying out the power situation in an RV park in your converted bus?

Make sure there is power on the power pedestal, the source. They are not always left in the "On" position. Verify for power, 110vac, with some sort of tester if you don't have a meter for this. A radio, a drill, hairdryer etc will suffice.

When sure of that fact, plug the bus into that and make sure your main switch coming in to the main panel is on. Could be that simple, you not knowing what is what yet.

good luck, keep us posted.
