Converter/charger questions

Thanks in advance for reading. I have everything but my converter purchased for my solar set up. I went with the AIMS Power 100 AMpH LiPO battery, Aims 60 amp mppt charge controller and AIMS 1500 watt inverter. I also bought a WFCO combination 120v ac breaker box and 12v dc fuse board distribution center. There are more odds and ends but those are the big guys (panels are also missing till next pay check).

So my questions...
1) my house batteries won’t be charged by the alternator at this point, Maybe later, but not for now. If I ground both house batteries and starter/vehicle light batteries to the chassis, will that cause and issue?

2) charger converters for shore power. So I know I have to have a LiOP specific converter so that it pushes 14.6 v to fully charge the batteries. Does this feed directly from the converter/charger to the batteries, or does it go through the mppt charge controller? On that note, can I use the old lead acid converter/charger that I have and feed it into the mppt, and the mppt will make adjustments to voltage?

3) assuming I have to buy a new charger/converter for LiPO, there are power center options with breakers and fuses And there are stand alone converters. Would that power center replace the need for my WFCO distribution center? would the breakers and fuses integrated into the converter-charger power center work for my outlets and appliances whether drawing on the battery or shore power

4) I live in Boise,ID and would like some help wiring everything. If you have any suggestions for electricians in my area, or where I should look for an RV/solar electrician who would want to do a job like this, I’d love them

Thanks!

If I understand your question, the chassis battery (that runs the vehicle) and house battery can both use the chassis as a ground path.

The house battery ground wire will not be a complete circuit for any chassis battery wiring. It completes the circuit for your house wiring only (off the positive house battery terminal).

Same is true for the chassis battery ground strap. It does not complete a circuit through the house wiring.
