I agree, and after thinking about it, probably even the modification I would like to see (simulate normal temperature fluctuation by testing 12 hours at 25c and 12 hours at maybe 15c) might be too complicated for most people to follow through with.

Even a steady 25° for days is a challenge for many.

But that should not stop a member from conducting the tests and publishing their data.

Just do the best you can reasonably

I don't see how you consider this useful. There are countless variables not measured or mentioned which could & would have significant impacts on the energy consumed. Food & drinks added / removed in unknown quantities @ unknown temperatures @ unknown intervals/frequencies. Ambient temps expressed as a vague range, which in the context of a month-long outing makes them pretty much meaningless.

The only metric that was stated with any accuracy was SOC, & we don't even know what age/condition the battery(s) were in.

Two people could write the exact same story, in the exact same words - truthfully - & experience vastly different energy consumption.
