Generator behind front cowl on RE bus?

I've been searching and came up empty handed.

I'm kicking the idea around about getting a blue bird all american RE and wondering if anyone has mounted a generator behind the front cowl (essentially where the FE would go). Ive seen this style setup on large RE RVs.

It would probably just be a small 3-5kW.

My thought is to keep the underbelly compartments open for fresh & gray/black tanks, and storage for all of our "usual RV stuff"

In both of my Crowns I mounted the generator in the spare tire compartment located to the rear of the right front wheel. There is sufficient airflow for cooling and space for the generator. That location provides for locating the wiring to just forward of the rear wheels to pass through the floor. Of course there is also a convenient hatch to access the generator for operation and servicing. So far I haven't had any heat problems either.

Bluebird Wanderlodge did the same thing. I'm sure with some creative fabrication you can also do it on a RE bus body.
