Probably 12V but clean the case on the alternator and it will probably be stamped on the case. Of its 12 its parallel 24 is series or it will have a big solenoid near the battery case sometimes in it with the series/parallel relay in it. Will have 4 of the cable connections and 2 control small wires on the relay. These units start on 24 and charge on 12. Yours is most likely 12 cranking and charging. And unless its a white motor co chassis or a Mack, its neg ground
