I just bought a 1989 Ford Bluebird school bus. Someone stole the batteries out of it and cut all the wires. I don't know how to hook the wires up. 12 or 24 volt ? Series or parallel ? Someone please heip. It has the Ford desiel engine in front, 72 passenger. Thanks

12 volt so if you use 2 batteries that are 12 volt parallel is what you want

Probably 12V but clean the case on the alternator and it will probably be stamped on the case. Of its 12 its parallel 24 is series or it will have a big solenoid near the battery case sometimes in it with the series/parallel relay in it. Will have 4 of the cable connections and 2 control small wires on the relay. These units start on 24 and charge on 12. Yours is most likely 12 cranking and charging. And unless its a white motor co chassis or a Mack, its neg ground
