Help me figure out wiring?

Cheapest I've found is $113.
I'm willing to spend it to get the wipers working right. It does rain a lot here.

Just for curiosity sake, just pull the connector off the switch with the black and white wires in it. I think that is the power feed so the right side shouldn't work at all if I'm right. That means the other connector is for speed and washer pump.
You should probably change both switches in case the driver side gives up. Not a good thing to happen day or night and no spare.

Pulled the white and black off the right switch. You're right the black is power.
The white wasn't on the first time I opened it up, so I'll leave it off. It never made any difference either way with white.
Black plus the three yellow and one gray on the other connector equals the five wires at the motor, right!?

Been daily driving it, but can't do much with it when the wiper WON'T stop.lol
What I can't understand is why the wiper ONLY comes on when the engine is running. If its in the acc position the wiper switch works fine other than no intermittent. Soon as I fire it up, about 30 secs pass and the wiper comes on.
Could the switch do that?

I better not comment from a distance on the other wires you mentioned from this distance yet.
Just read the next post which further confuses me.
Follow that black wire backwards till you find the fuse ..could be about 25 amp fuse if feeding both switches.

So- according to the info I got when looking up this switch, apparently it can control 2 motors?
Could I just eliminate the faulty switch and run both motors off one???

This is where it gets tougher Those two solenoids we know supply acc and one supplies the regular power when key is "ON."
Does the black wire from the right hand switch go to the left switch and then back to the solenoid that you say is always hot?

Seems like you could but you will have to make a harness to go from the left motor to the right motor rather than at the switch. 5 wires to splice or solder.
I think I'd just get a new switch and keep it original for future. Pick up a spare at a junkyard maybe just in case but definitely installa new right wiper switch.

Lemme look again real quick. The black wire goes to a connector that turns it into a thicker grey wire that goes to the left motor. from there its the same grey and runs down into a GIANT wad of wires that do to the outside panel. The closest thing I see in the side compartment looks like it goes to a Bosch relay or something, then another one identical, then up to some sort of breaker/fuse panel, then to the solenoid. But I could be totally off. I'm way out of my league here and about ready to pay someone top dollar to make this go away.

So I fired up the bus again just for sport. The left wiper comes on when I hit the washer fluid on the right button!?!?
I don't wanna give up, but this is just insane.

So disconnect the right switch completely and see what happens. That rh switch has had a melt down internally.

Can that right switch make the left wiper come on? WHy?
Is it just me or did they make this as expensive and crappy and complicated as possible? THe switch seems like a really chintzy piece for a buck fiddy with shipping.

This is a complex circuit for sure even for me so don't feel bad. Wish I was there to help trace things out. But you will. Got to chase things right back to the source to know for sure.
Pushing the rh washer pump tells me the feed goes from the left thru the right and back to both motors as you would want the blades moving when the pump runs. Will it stop as soon as you let off the rh button?

When that was new it must have worked just fine for a long time. Somebody has changed some part of it. I will make a diagram for you when we sort this out and that will make you understand the whole circuit. Great engineering but pricey to fix.Can you imagine what a garage would charge. They would have to check everything in the order we are too.
If you could see the complexity inside of that switch you'd shake your head a bit.
