What is a KAW? My point was that if your fridge needs 1.05ish kwH and you are only giving it 1kwH, there is not left over power, you are actually at a deficit of .05kwH. So at a min, you need 1.5kwH of power available to charge the computer and run the fridge at the same time.
I am well aware of my need for more power than what went in Kill-A-Watt (K-A-W) for the fridge in my home. I was only testing the new gauge. I was gauging what one unit uses as a base line for what I might need. My bus fridge will need less than my home fridge.
My biggest needs while asked will be TV, laptop, AC in summer. those items pretty much run constantly. Other appliances on a as needed basis.

Thats the same system I have but I have the 6000 Watt inverter with 120 Vac power, 48Vdc.

That kit is 6000w also, only difference I see is yours is 48v.

Hmm. Some interesting things about the listing that you and I both found. They claim that it has 1200AH of batteries, but those are 12V batteries. In order to get to 24V they would have to be wired 2x3, series and parallel, which would mean only 600AH.

We have 650a of AGMs, a 2000w inverter and a 4.5 c.f. fridge. Also run tv/DVD lights late at night. I've never seen lower than 60% on the mppt display in the morning. 200w solar works for us on clear days, a 55a charger off the gen gets us through overcast.

If this is in response to my last comment, my interest was piqued because the listing states 1200AH of capacity, when that would not be the case. And if the kit yaakbus purchased really was the same kit with a different inverter, that would pose some serious problems for their battery bank. In order to make a 48V bank the batteries would have to be wired 4 in series, with 2 just chilling on the side. And that would only mean a 200AH bank.

The link I posted comes with 6-200ah batteries. IINM those AGM batteries are only good for about 50%-60% discharge so you're only getting 600ah of use.

Which with your system (24vcd inverter) is 14.4kwH and with the 48vcd is 57.6kwH.

So if you use about 3.3kwH per day is still 2 days.

And even if they are wrong and I need to get 2 more batteries, there is still 800ah of storage which is 38.4kwH of storage. So I still easily get to my original goal of 3-5 days without charging.

An additional 2 batteries would only bring you up to 400AH of storage. When combined in series you increase the voltage, but not storage. Series increases storage but not voltage. Combining them is possible. To get 48V you're combining 4 batteries to get to 200AH, 48V. 8 batteries 4P2S would result in 400AH, 48V.
