How to keep lithium warm in winter

I just ordered two renogy 170ah lipo batteries. I keep my batteries inside the bus under the bed, but I’m not full time so the batteries could freeze in winter. I have heard people mention heating pads etc but I can’t find anything matching that product.

Any recommendations on where I can order a heating pad with thermo switch to keep the batteries from freezing?

Good thought.

Lithium can not be charged around freezing temps and lower. Discharge is not to good either .

Heating blankets are available but where does the power come from .
If you are on grid then it is easy if the batteries have to supply the energy themselves for the heating then you running a high risk over discharging your batteries and damaging them that way.

Good luck, J

I live in coastal Virginia and the winters are moderate so I’m not too sure worried about draining the batteries too low.. I just need to supplement the heat at night.

Custom silicon pads with overtemp thermostats are not expensive ordered from China.

Or the wrap tape stuff used for propane tanks, truck fuel lines.

Transient not too cold ambients, not in use no worries, just don't charge below spec, or they're dead

Personally I design in a pack size that's portable and bring them inside my living space.

Thinking of placing one of these under the batteries.
