Intermittent wipers on international, IC, dual motor

My bus is an International, IC, with dual wiper motors. Currently I have a two-speed switch and want to upgrade to intermittent wiper switch. Unfortunately, intermittent wipers for my setup are apparently $150 to $250. Wow!

I know the Thomas buses have an aftermarket intermittent switch you can add on, but apparently not so for international. Is anybody have an idea of how I can more affordably add intermittent wipers to my current setup?

Thanks for any assistance.

intermittant wipers

go look at marine wiper systems... I think you can buy add on controller for intermittant wipers and control two motors at the same time....

pay attention marine wipers come in 12 volt and 24 volt.

by the time you mess around with trying to be "Cheap" you couldve just bought the proper intermittant wiper switch (thats a built in timer control).. and modified the wiring to make it work....

if you want to reinvent the wheel you can.. but you still need a vairable timer switch (rheostat) and a way to make the wipers work on all their speeds.. seems pretty easy order the factory switch, put it on, problem solved
