International 3800 wiring diagram dt466
I usually find stuff using Google but no luck finding a International 3800 school bus wiring diagram for a dt466. Not sure if the dt466 makes a difference as its all mechanical, no Jbus or OBD port
The fuse box is a rats nest so need the manual to try to clean it up and also to get a basic understanding of the electrical system.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

If you are looking for body wiring, we would need to know the body manufacturer (Thomas, Bluebird, Amtran, etc...). If you are looking for chassis wiring, there isn't much of that if you have a mechanical DT466.

Like DJ said...there's not much for the chassis, so I will assume you're talking about the body wiring (all that stuff for the sign and flashers and exit sensors). As mentioned, you'll want to tell us who made your bus body.
Where in AZ are you? We're up near Flag and could help out if you get stuck.
Please follow the "cut then check" rule...if you cut or disconnect a wire in there, start the engine and then see if the bus will move (goes into gear and brakes release). Too many new owners remove a bunch of stuff, then find out their bus is now a brick.

No wiring diagram, but we have a '95 3800 - might be similar setup to yours
I was able to remove about 70% of the wires myself by tracing them all over the bus. Most of then were speaker wires!
Our dash nest isn't perfect but it is way better than when we bought her - I can actually see what is going on in there and gave made some additions with no problems (backup camera and Hella 4x4 lights)
Tedious, but tracing every wire from switch to end was the best bet for us.
Most wiring diagrams leave me more lost than when I started anyway, but thats just me hahaha

Good point about tracing every wire, may be the best way.
I did get a pdf wiring diagram (the manual) of the Amtran Genesis, tell me if you need a copy.
