Is DC necessary?

So... I'm scratching my head here on the whole power thing.

Generator & Shore & Engine for sources of power, no solar.

AC and DC... is DC even necessary? I'm trying to think of what I could have that I need DC for?

TV is AC converted to DC...
Fridge is AC...
Roof A/C is AC...
Power outlets like home are AC...
Phone chargers are AC (before the adapter)...

Am I missing something?

Is it literally any LED lights I want to use would be DC? Would there be anything else?

I think you would want some sort of lighting on DC or you'll be running the genny 100% of the time you're not connected to shore.

Ya, thats what I'm thinking and seeing as the only real need for DC

Literally just some LED lights both inside and out

You might not need much heat but heater fans usually are 12v DC. Ventilation fans also.
What do you use for heating water? Propane? There again the ignition is 12v DC.
Water pumps are normally 12 vDC for recreational use.

Just a few items to point out why. You won't always be able to get AC if you are on the road and breakdown. At least you have some minor comfort capabilities.
