Killswitch Problem - Exit Door Alarm - Wiring, Etc. - Ford B800

Hi, I know there are other threads on this topic, but I'm a non-electrician and I know buses are each a little different, depending on make & model. I'm working with a 1998 Ford B800, so it's mostly mechanical, I was told.

My dad disconnected two wires, see photos below. He was trying to get the door buzzer alarm to go off. It did go off. But now the bus won't start. No wires were cut.

1) Will reconnecting those two wires get the bus to start again?
1a) If yes, how to do that, just use a screw & wrap around like the ones beside it on the same metal box?

2) If we want to get rid of the "interlock," that triggers the door buzzer-- how do we do that? Anyone know which wires to disconnect from what? We weren't lucky enough to have a wiring diagram inside the door or with the bus.

Thank you so much for your help. You guys rock.

Since they are spade connectors, they can easily be put back under the screw that held them in pace just prior to being removed. As long as you get the on the same screws, the bus *should* start and run as normal.

Others on this site would be able to inform you how to disable the feature.
